WHAT does elementary look like?

Weekly teachings that give a hands on look at what it means to be Catholic
fundamentals
Entering into the basic teachings and practices of the faith using the Baltimore Catechism
large group
Each week will begin with a gathering of ages K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 for an initial teaching
small group
The children then break into smaller groups in order to have age specific teachings and activities
in-person or home study
There are two options for your child:
In-Person classes on Wednesday or Sunday
Home Study using materials provided after registration
first communion & reconciliation preparation
Registration for Sacramental preparation is included on the Elementary Formation registration form, so please be sure to indicate it when completing your child's registration
You will need to indicate if your child is in their first or second year of preparation
First year children are in first grade or older and are completing their first year of Faith Formation classes
Second year children are in second grade or older and are completing their second year of Faith Formation classes, and will also need to complete the Sacramental preparation work that parents receive at the first parent meeting of the year
refunds
No refunds will be issued within two weeks of the first day of scheduled classes
Wednesday - Last Refunds on August 21st
Sunday - Last Refunds on August 25th

All children are required to be registered to attend Faith Formation classes
Your family must be registered at a parish within the Archdiocese of Atlanta
rates per child
Standard Registration: $110
Child of Catechist: $40
This rate is available for those who assist in teaching our children at any Faith Formation grade level. Please volunteer.
Scholarship: $55 (Half) & $5 (Full)
This rate requires prior approval - reach out to Kris Michels before registering
If you register without approval we will refund your registration and ask you to re-register
